According to Transport Secretary Mr Shapps, challenges facing British public transport services are increasing as more people return to work. As a result, mandatory face mask guidelines have been implemented today to protect the physical health of UK commuters. In response to our recent survey, 39% of people confessed to feeling worried about using public transport to get to work – a result which was obtained prior to these new regulations being introduced. With many assuming that commutes would resume when restrictions could be lifted entirely, the need for masks is likely to increase this number.
